‘Oneness In Christ’ – Bible Study

Each quarter, the Seventh-day Adventist Church publishes a ‘Quarterly” Sabbath School Bible Study Guide to be used in Sabbath School, for personal Bible study, or in any other setting in which a deeper understanding of God’s Word is desired.

The Adult Sabbath School Bible Study Guide (Quarterly) links the entire world Church together in a global classroom. Written by a variety of authors, the study guide encourages personal time with God and His Word. Memory texts and key thoughts from the authors provide an opportunity for spiritual growth.

This Quarter’s lesson, starting 5 October 2018 (Church study on Saturday, October 6) is titled … ‘Oneness On Christ’

 

Quick Overview

The purpose of this series of Bible study lessons is to provide biblical instruction on the topic of Christian unity for us as Seventh-day Adventists, who, now, as always, face challenges to that unity, and will until the end of time.

However, in the Scriptures we find numerous insights and instructions on how to live God’s gift of oneness in Christ. Those insights, those instructions about living out and expressing in our church the unity we have been given, are the focus of this quarter.

The Ferntree Gully Seventh-day Adventist Church offers you an opportunity to get to know Jesus by studying the Word of God.

We have Bible Study which is open to everyone. There are small groups available to study the Bible each Sabbath. You can choose which group you want to join. You don’t have to be an academic! Everyone is keen and willing to study, and understand what is written in the Bible, and how it applies to one’s life.

The duration of the lesson study is about 30-40 minutes, starting 9:30 am, April 7. The Study begins the first lesson of ‘Preparation for the End Time’ – a very appropriate topic to study in this troubled world of ours. If you don’t have a lesson guide, we will provide you with one. We also have Bibles to share as well.
